Zip-Line

Hunter and I want to go on the zip-line in Boulder City but since it is more than a mile long and goes as fast as 50 mph we thought we better practice on a smaller one so we went to Freemont Street and zip-lined from one side to the other.  It was only 30 seconds and only went up to 30 mph but it was still fun.  We are ready for the big one now.
Just hangin' around

Trip to Brian Head

A few months ago, Hunter went Snowboarding with the Scouts and he really likes it so two weeks ago, we went snowboarding at Brian Head.  After living in Vegas for 10 years, I found -2 to be a little too cold for me but fortunately for us it warmed up to 37 the next day and was a perfect day on the slopes. I was really surprised at how good he was for only having gone once before.
Off to the ski lift w/his board
The ski lift is fun until the chairs stop
I hope he knows how to stop.

Time for Braces

Instead of going out-of-town or somewhere super fun for the President's Day holiday, we went to the orthodontist for Hunter's braces.  Doesn't he look like he had a lot of fun??? He chose blue and white elastics to show support of his favorite team, the Indianapolis Colts.

Start with the molds
My what a big mouth he has
All Finished
He will really be smiling 18 months from now when they come off.

Feeding Charlie...

If you drive through Red Rock Canyon at dusk you will find wild burros walking around.  You aren't allowed to feed them from the side of the road but if you go into Blue Diamond, you will find them walking through the town.  Lately, Hunter likes to go feed them apples on Saturday and Sunday evenings.  He likes one of them more than the others because it doesn't try to bite him when he is feeding them.  Hunter calls him Charlie.
