Alisha came to visit us for a week and we had a lot of fun while she was here. On Thursday, she went to scouts with Hunter, well that is until I realized she was in my car with my house keys leaving me locked out of my house so she had to leave scouts and come let me in. Later that evening, Hunter took her on a date to Chili's. Somehow they talked me in to going with them even though I have decided never to eat there again. They convinced me that I have been ordering the wrong food when I go there. I am not sure how you can ruin a salad but Chili's somehow can do it. This time Alisha told me to order the pasta because it was the best so I did. WRONG!!! Now I have officially declared that I will not eat at Chili's again.
On Friday, Alisha got up early and made my favorite treat for my birthday. After that we sent Hunter to school and Alisha and I headed to the spa for the day for a relaxing massage. After the spa, we went shopping. Later that evening Hunter and Alisha took me to Sammys for dinner. Now Sammys is a place that knows how to make good food. (Although, grandma said she will never eat there again.) After dinner, we were going to a movie but instead ended up at the Halloween store where Hunter found a few of his favorite masks.
We went bowling and Alisha and I scored pretty well. We were so excited because we didn't even have to use the bumpers. :) Hunter on the other had was upset that he wasn't getting strikes everytime so he stopped bowling after the second game while we bowled one more.
After bowling we went to the movie "All About Steve" before Alisha and I went to see Wayne Brady at the Venetian. All About Steve was alright and worth seeing once but Wayne Brady is a must see. It was great!
We went to the driving range and that was certainly a memorable event. Alisha and Hunter were hitting golf balls and I was taking pictures. At some point, I saw a golf club go flying out of someone's hand and out onto the driving range. I thought it was funny until it dawned on me that it was Hunter's golf club. Yes, he had let go of it and it landed on the driving range. I had to find a range picker to go get it so we could leave. Hunter was embarrassed so when he picked up the club from the range picker, he told him it was his cousin who had thrown it out there.
