This year Hunter is learning how to play the Cello. After a lot of practice, he had his first concert last week and he did a great job. I am so proud of him.
Living in Las Vegas prevents Hunter and I from sharing the things we do with our family and friends in Utah. We have found that every day events sometimes even keep us from keeping in touch with our family and friends here in town. We decided we would create a blog so we can keep them up to date on our happenings. We hope you enjoy reading about our family.

Hunter started the day by waking up to a room full of balloons and being trapped inside his room. Then he went outside and opened the garage door to streamers and more balloons. Hunter has a great friend, Ethan, and his mom had stopped by in the night to decorate the garage. Hunter loved it but said, "that Chantelle is crazy".
Hunter graduated from 5th grade and is excited but a little nervous about starting 6th grade in the Middle School. 5th grade was fun for him. He studied hard and ended the year with mostly "A's" but there were a few "B's"in there as well. His class had the "Great American Challenge" which required him to learn and name past and present presidents, the Gettysburg Address, the Star Spangle Banner, the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, and all of the states and their capitals. I was very proud of him being able to accomplish this and even though I hate to admit it, I don't remember those things. He received a trophy for completeing the challenge which he was proud to show off. He also completed and graduated from the D.A.R.E. program this year. He learned a lot of things this past year, had good teachers, made some great friends and had a lot of fun. Hey...is his cap on backwards???
